"Payment issues and careless handling"
I tried placing an order, but the payment kept failing for no clear reason. My card works perfectly fine everywhere else, so I don’t know what the problem was. I came back later and tried again, and the same thing happened. It felt like no one really cared enough to handle the checkout process properly, which made the whole thing even more frustrating. Such a waste of time. Paying for an order should not be this difficult.

"Too Many Emails That Don’t Feel Relevant"
I signed up hoping to get good cigar deals, but a lot of the emails I receive feel kind of random and not really connected to what I usually buy. Every now and then there’s something useful, but most of the time it just feels like extra clutter in my inbox. it’s a little frustrating because I wanted to be excited about the deals, not annoyed every time another email shows up.

"Wrong cigars showed up and nobody followed up"
I ordered one thing and somehow got the wrong cigars instead. I’m not really sure how the mix-up happened, but the frustrating part is that I never got any follow-up about it. A simple update or response would’ve made the situation a lot less annoying.

"Discreet box, but the padding could’ve tried harder"
I did appreciate that the box didn’t scream “cigars” on the outside, so that was nice and discreet. That said, the padding inside was underwhelming, and one corner ended up a little crushed. Not a total disaster or anything, but I guess I was silly for expecting it to be packed a bit better.

The promos look great at first, but once you actually check out, the savings are barely anything. It feels like a lot of polished marketing talk to make the deals seem bigger than they really are. I’d rather they just be upfront instead of dressing it up like some huge discount

"Easy process and solid order updates"
The whole ordering process was really easy, and I liked getting emails along the way when my order was placed, shipped, and out for delivery. The tracking worked fine too, which made it simple to keep an eye on everything. One update came a little later than expected, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, good experience

The subscription itself was fine and did what I needed, but trying to pause it was more confusing than it should’ve been. i’m kind of tired of every service making basic account changes feel like a chore. It worked in the end, but the process left me a bit annoyed.

Setting up an account on cigar.com was straightforward for me. The sign-up form was simple and didn’t ask for anything unexpected, so I got through it quickly.

The only hiccup was logging in afterward. It kept telling me my info was wrong, so I ended up resetting my password even though I was sure I had it right. Compared to a few other cigar sites I’ve used, the login process felt a little less polished.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, just not totally seamless. Once I was in, everything worked fine, but the account access part could definitely be a bit smoother.

"Not what I expected"
I ordered this because the description said smooth and medium. Nope. What I got was way stronger and harsh. The flavor notes didn’t line up for me at all.

Shipping was fine. No issue there. But the product description felt way off. I’d be cautious trusting the cigar.com descriptions next time.

I used cigar.com to browse around, and for the most part it was easy to get where I needed to go. The search worked well when I looked up specific brands or sizes, and the filters made it simple to narrow things down without wasting a bunch of time.
The only thing that bugged me was when I typed in something more general, the results felt kind of random, like the site just brushed off what I was actually looking for. It made me feel a little dismissed, but overall the navigation was still simple enough and I didn’t end up lost.

"Shipping rules could be a lot clearer"
The site was easy to use overall, but I didn’t realize there were state shipping restrictions until late in the checkout process. I had already spent time picking things out, and then found out they apparently couldn’t ship to me. Maybe I missed it somewhere, but it would be much better if they showed those restrictions upfront by state. It was kind of frustrating and felt like a waste of time.

"Nothing says fun like an age check"
I had to go through the age verification before I could even browse, which I totally get. Still, it was a bit clunky and took me a couple tries to figure out what it wanted. Very relaxing way to start, obviously. It did work eventually, so it wasn’t a disaster, just more annoying than it needed to be.

"Works good on a phone"
I was browsing cigar.com on my phone and it worked well. The pages loaded quick enough, and I could find the brands I was looking for without much trouble. A couple of the filters felt little clunky on smaller screen, but it wasn’t anything too annoying. Overall, it was easy enough to use and I’d probably shop there again.

"Rewards program is more hassle than it should be"
I’ve ordered from cigar.com a few times, usually when I’m restocking before the weekend or grabbing something to keep in the humidor, and the cigars themselves have been totally fine. My issue is really with the rewards program. The points don’t seem to show up in a way that makes sense, and I spent way longer than I expected trying to figure out how to actually use them at checkout.
I even reached out to support, but the replies were basic and didn’t really get me anywhere. I still couldn’t get the discount to apply, and by that point I was just annoyed. It feels like the rewards are technically there, but not in a way that’s actually easy to use.

"Checkout was such a hassle"
I tried ordering from cigar.com the checkout was rough. Not terrible from the start, but then the pages started dragging. Slow loading. Little pauses everywhere. Then it kept asking me to double-check things I had already filled out, which got old fast.

I did get the order through in the end. So there’s that. But it felt clunky the whole way. For an online store, especially one taking payments, the cart should be much smoother. Not really impressed

The site works fine overall. I just wish some of the products had more pictures, you know? It’s a little hard to feel sure about what you’re getting when there are only one or two images.

I gave CIGAR.com’s personalized picks a shot, it was laughable. I told them what I actually like, and they still sent recommendations that missed the mark completely. It felt less like a real suggestion system and more like some lazy little upsell machine throwing random cigars at me. Definitely disappointing, and I won’t bother using it again.

"Pretty solid sampler overall"
I picked up this sampler and thought it had a nice mix overall. A couple of the cigars weren’t really my thing, but most of them were solid and enjoyable. My brother tried one with me and liked it too, so that was a nice bonus. Shipping was smooth and showed up without any issues.
